About the role As the Procurement Manager – Technology, Reporting and Analytics, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Corporate Services Group.
You will design and deploy cutting-edge solutions, manage master data, and provide impactful insights to drive business decisions. Collaborate with IT and external vendors to transform our procurement landscape.
Key Accountabilities include:
System Management: Act as the primary stakeholder for Procurement systems (e.g., Zycus, JDE) and manage system changes with technology teams and suppliers. Technology Deployment: Oversee the deployment and simplification of Procurement technologies, data, and analytics. Engagement Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to drive adoption of Procurement technologies among stakeholders. Leadership and Mentorship: Coach and mentor staff to ensure compliance with leading practices. Roadmap Ownership: Own the Procurement Technology and Data roadmap, including automation and AI initiatives. Data Management: Oversee master data management, supplier onboarding, contract administration, and ensure compliance with data governance policies. About you You are a subject matter expert in procurement technology and analytics. You have a proven track record of supporting teams through transformation to enhance their capabilities and improve business maturity.

Strategic thinking, with strong negotiation and influencing skills Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage change effectively. Knowledge in: End-to-end Procurement Source to Pay processes. Procurement systems and data platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Zycus). Industry-leading practices in spend analytics. Regulatory requirements and best practices in procurement. Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.
