About the Role This is a newly created role as Procurement Manager reporting to the General Manager, Construction.
The key focus of this role is to ensure the business is receiving best value for money across suppliers and subcontractors.
More specifically, you will:
Implement and contribute in Gallery's strategic Procurement plan in line with the overall business objectives.
Create strategies for various suppliers and subcontractors from end-to-end to ensure best quality, delivery and cost is met.
Complete in-depth analyses to ensure best outcomes for the business (e.g.
business needs analysis, internal and external market analysis, go to market strategies, etc.).
Review ongoing supplier and subcontractor performance.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to implement continuous improvement reducing price variation cost issues.
About you You will share a passion for our and be aligned to Gallery's core values.
In addition, you will demonstrate:
Experience in a procurement or purchasing position.
Knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities and trends.
A continuous improvement mindset with problem solving capabilities.
Experience in the Construction industry.
You will hold a current driver's license and have regular access to a reliable vehicle.
