Procurement Manager

Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
In this role you will be an experienced procurement manager with a strong background with contract management for Federal Government, ideally within Defence. You will join a leading consulting firm with access to multiple client engagements across the procurement space. To be successful you will ideally be someone looking to grow a long-term career in this space, have strong stakeholder management skills, proven procurement experience, and either are eligible for or have AGSVA baseline clearance.
About the company Our client is a leading player within the Federal Government & Defence Sector and are based in Canberra. They are continuing to grow their commercial offering within national security.
About the role Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition out, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Drive the procurement and transition of new contracts, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and strategic alignment Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess and address potential challenges during the transition phase Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management on contract transition strategies About you 5+ years experience with procurement & contract management High level working knowledge of defence or federal government Strong ability to manage stakeholders Ability to work on site in Canberra Either are eligible for or have AGSVA baseline clearance Bonus structures in place for winning new business and utilising set KPI's How to apply Please send through an updated version of your resume, highlighting your experience with contract management & procurement.
