About the Role
I'm seeking an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for procuring OEM/EPC contracts, with an initial focus on large scale battery storage projects (BESS). You will be strong commercially to negotiate and finalise contracts, and will ideally have renewables or balance of plant experience.
Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project requirements Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for batteries and EPC contracts Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure value for money Manage supplier relationships and performance to ensure quality and timely delivery Work closely with internal teams to understand project requirements and timelines Monitor market trends and developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the renewable energy sector Strong negotiation and contract management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of battery technologies and EPC contracts is a plus Benefits Excellent salary: $200-220k + super Work on BESS projects and future scope for other technologies Opportunity for professional growth and development A supportive and inclusive work environment How to Apply
