Procurement & Contracts Specialist Part Time

Part Time6 Month Initial ContractAbout Our Client My client is an ASX listed miner and one of the largest within their commodity including multiple sites around the world. Job Description This hands-on role will see you responsible for a number of key activities including the following:
End to end management of a range of sourcing and contracts workIdentify and implement process improvement within the specific categories and the broader procurement functionManage stakeholder relationshipsImplement supplier agreements and various procurement strategies designed to deliver improved service levels and cost savings across the groupThe procurement spend will include a range of corporate services such as explorationThe Successful Applicant The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in the full sourcing process including tenders, negotiations, and contract award. While some activities will be fairly transactional, others will be high value and will require more of a strategic focus, so you will be comfortable managing both processes.
You will enjoy working in a small team and contributing to a range of tasks that will contribute to other parts of the business. You will be available to work around 24 hours per week, and you can make up the hours across 3, 4, or 5 days per week.
