What this opportunity involves: As the Procurement Administrator - Projects, you will be expected to deliver best total value outcomes and mitigate commercial and supply risk for construction works projects.
The role requires ownership of vendor panel registration, managing the migration of the current vendor supply panel to new contracts, compliance and performance reporting processes, as well as being 'hands-on' administering tendering for bulk procurement activity and individual capital works projects as required.
Your engagement approach with vendors will focus on partnership, OHS, value for money, and efficiency.
The role is responsible for the strategic sourcing function, including development and implementation of strategic and operational sourcing, category management, and supply management strategies, to ensure our client attains the best value in the goods and services required to enable achievement of its goals.
A snapshot of the role: Establish, lead and execute category plans, strategies and frameworks, including market approaches, procurement analysis, supplier development and evaluation, to meet client needs and expectations.
Review existing vendor panel consisting of 138 vendors in consultation with client Construction team and JLL PMO and project managers.
Lead efforts to improve supply chain efficiency, maintain service and product quality standards, and reduce costs.
Identify and evaluate new market trends, dynamics and opportunities.

This is what we're looking for: You'll have a related Business / Commerce Degree with proven experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing and negotiation.
Key Skills required: Confidently manage the procurement process from EOI through to contract award.
Experience in establishing tenders for property services and/or construction suppliers.
Be able to carry out commercial negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and consultants within established limits of authority.
Possess a basic understanding of the project management process for delivery of capital works, or willingness to learn.
Understand supply chain performance measures for goods & services.
Understand demand drivers and has broad business perspective and understanding of our Client's future requirements.
Understanding of the legal environment and government policy frameworks such as Modern Slavery; Local Jobs First, etc.
Understand our obligations for complying with ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO9001 and Environmental Health and Safety legislation generally.
