Process Analyst

The core purpose is to map business processes and customer journeys and use these to drive process and system improvements across the business in alignment with the wider organisational improvement strategy.
The role involves information gathering, data analysis, and the creation of clear and accurate business process maps to identify opportunities for improvement and support change delivery initiatives.
Position AccountabilitiesInformation gathering, data analysis and process mapping to identify opportunities for improvement and support change delivery initiativesUnderstanding business objectives and mapping business processes accordinglyCreating process maps and documentation aligned with the required standards and conventionsEffectively engaging stakeholders and facilitating workshops to gather and document processesWorking with change delivery teams to embed changes into the organisationAnalyse existing processes in comparison with improved or proposed processes to identify gaps and/or necessary changesConduct change impact assessments to identify impacts to other processes, teams, or departmentsProviding process reviews and recommending updates to solve business problems and deliver business outcomesAssisting leaders to identify opportunities for improvement via data analysis and mapping, to meet organisational strategy objectivesIdentify opportunities for improvement, support, and change deliveryWork effectively as part of a change delivery teamInfluencing and liaising at all levels of the organisation to support engagement and change managementCommunication and FacilitationExcellent interpersonal, influencing, and relationship management skills, with the proven ability to work at all levels of an organisation, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and tailor your communication style accordinglySuperior written and verbal communication and presentation skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and manage upwards with confidenceIdentify and report potential risks or inadequate controls related to compliance or operational risksChampion a culture of risk and compliance across the divisionMaintain awareness, understanding, and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including the on-time completion of mandatory trainingWhat Experience You'll BringDemonstrated experience in business process analysis and modelling (BPMN) including As-Is/To-Be process mapping and data modelsBachelor degree in a relevant discipline or commensurate industry experienceAn understanding of the General Insurance industry would be preferredFormal Business Analysis qualification (e.g. International Diploma in Business Analysis, IIBA CBAP or Lean Six Sigma certification) would be preferredA professional and "can do" attitude with a real passion for customer serviceHands-on, team-focused attitude, ability to learn new systems quickly, experience of working to deadlines in a change-driven environment, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining focusIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and VisioLocationThis role can be based either at our North Lakes or Kawana office.
