As a Principal Regional Collaboration Officer, you will establish and maintain relationships with Regional Leadership Networks and support collaborative crossagency initiatives. Regional Leadership Networks bring together senior officers from across the Queensland Government to collaborate on regional priorities, as part of the Regional Collaborative Governance Model. This role is a unique opportunity to really make a difference in regional Queensland and to build your connections both in the region and across the state.

The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRDMW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 580 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.
You will contribute by:
* collaborating across Queensland Government agencies based in the regions
* supporting Regional Leadership Networks to develop innovative ideas into placebased actions by driving the implementation of an Annual Workplan
* undertaking local and regional intelligence gathering and research
* working in partnership across agencies to coordinate and strengthen the government's focus on rural and regional Queensland
