As Principal Policy Officer, you will develop and provide strategic policy advice and options on all aspects of economic policy development relating to the energy market.You will require excellent communication and stakeholder management experience,including the ability to manage conflict and negotiate positive outcomes.
About us:
At the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions and objectives for the betterment of the community.

Your opportunity:
You will be required to lead and manage policy teams and projects, develop high level policy advice, assist manage the Government's Cabinet agenda and liaise and negotiate with agencies on energy related policy matters. You should demonstrate your knowledge in energy systems, ability to think critically, make considered decisions, embrace new ideas, support and develop teams and demonstrate sound governance and risk management.
