About the company/role:Our client, a government organisation, is looking for a skilled Occupational Hygienist to join their team in the western suburbs of Brisbane on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Principal Occupational Hygienist, you will manage projects and deliver technical excellence, ensuring that project objectives and targeted initiatives align with both client and organisational goals.Duties:Provide strategic leadership in achieving client and stakeholder objectives for occupational hygiene consulting services, as well as supporting research and organizational campaigns.Lead the team in technical excellence to ensure successful project outcomes.Conduct complex occupational hygiene investigations, studies, statistical data analysis, and reporting.Oversee continuous improvement in operational planning and team coordination, ensuring high-quality delivery practices.Offer specialized occupational hygiene advice and expertise to key internal and external stakeholders, professional bodies, and the industry to support informed decision-making.Skills/experience:Degree-level qualification in Applied Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health and Safety, or a closely related discipline.Full Member of AIOH and Certified Occupational Hygienist.Extensive experience in managing teams and projects, with a proven track record in preparing and executing occupational hygiene programs.Demonstrated technical excellence and strong competency in creating comprehensive reports.Experience in the mining industry is highly desirable.Apply!If you think this could be the role for you then please apply now!
