Principal Hr Consultant

We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Demonstrated expertise in understanding, interpreting, and advising on employment frameworks (including legislation, awards, agreements etc.) that enables the development and implementation of quality HR policies across the organisation, to manage risk, support effective decision-making, and ensure contemporary workforce management practices. Demonstrated experience in providing high level strategic and tactical advice to all levels of management relating to a wide range of workforce management issues including, but not limited to: change management, project management, and employment relations. Demonstrated highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills in order to work autonomously to provide quality advice and solutions to complex workforce issues, both on a Statewide and local basis. Proven high level ability to build productive relationships and liaise, advise, and negotiate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve expected organisational outcomes. Demonstrated ability to communicate with influence through verbal and written material, ensuring a professional, high-quality standard is maintained at all times, with the ability to develop and deliver workforce development activities designed to improve capability and outcomes. Whilst not mandatory, possession of relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in human resource management will be highly regarded. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
