Join the Retail Insurance Australia (RIA) Pricing Strategy team supporting brands like NRMA Insurance to advise and support an extensive range of personal insurance products, including Home, Motor and Niche products.
Your Role
The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to specialise in driving technical excellence across RIA pricing team; working on pricing strategic initiatives to enhance critical pricing capabilities. You will have a strong analytical and thought leadership to design, experiment, build and evaluate innovative pricing solutions. Your work will be instrumental in refining these capabilities to help us meet and exceed our business targets.

About You
Tertiary qualifications in Actuarial, Mathematical, Statistics, Data Science or other analytical disciplines.
Sound knowledge and experience in general insurance industry, ideally in pricing with 5+ years of experience and familiarity with relevant legislation and regulatory environment are desirable.
Experience building dashboards in programs such as R Shiny and Tableau and proficiency in programming with analytical software such as R, Python, SAS and/or SQL; Experience with Earnix is advantageous.
Experience across actuarial and technical pricing methods; Experience across design, build and evaluation of pricing models such as GBM and GLM are highly advantageous.
Extensive experience using and building machine learning algorithms, and advanced skills in statistical analysis, quantitative/predictive analytics, multivariate testing and optimisation algorithms are desirable; Experience in behavioural models is desirable.
Strong communication skills, in particular the ability to communicate complex technical concepts and quantitative analysis in a clear, precise and actionable manner to a range of stakeholders.
