The Pricing Manager role reports directly to the Head of the Secured Lending within the wider Wealth and Personal Banking Product team and will be responsible for all home loan pricing. Your main responsibilities will include: Delivering portfolio profitability (assessed by traditional NPAT, margin growth, balances, growth, attrition, costs, arrears, LIC's, RoRWA) Responsible for pricing and elasticity modelling of all products by product, loan and segment Development of pricing segmentation across Investment, Non-Resident, Owner Occupied and CP segments Development of retention strategies in order to improve run off levels and improve profitability and returns of the extant book Identifying and executing new mortgage products, completing financials, source funding and analyse sales Developing and analysing portfolio data to derive market, sales and customer trends across AUH market Managing and streamlining staff mortgage sales process and procedures working with staff and customers to drive efficiency and improvements. Manage Investment lending growth reports, ensuring that returns from this segment are maximised whilst meeting regulatory obligations. Propose strategic changes to policy and pricing to Head of Mortgage Product on ways to maximise this segment Represent HSBC at external events as required Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience within a pricing or product role in asset & liability funding and managing liquidity costs Strong knowledge of Australian mortgage industry, current legislation and key drivers. High level of analytical and numerical skills Advanced level skills in Microsoft Excel Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills Excellent ability to develop robust working relationships with a variety of stakeholders at various levels. Degree qualification desirable Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
