Job Title: Practice Nurse/Triage Nurse - Cairns, Queensland.
Job Type: Permanent – full-time or part-time.
Practice Information: The clinic is open 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm weekdays and 9am to 6pm on weekends and offers acute care and treatment for conditions that are not life-threatening but require urgent assistance.
Position Description: This practice is seeking experienced RN's to join the team on a full-time or part-time basis.
The role will be responsible for identifying and triaging suitable patients and providing front-line care while working alongside our General Practitioners.
Duties include: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to efficiently triage patients.
Deliver high-quality patient care and take decisive actions for patients requiring emergency attention or experiencing health deterioration.
Offer healthcare-related education to patients as needed.
Complete all documentation accurately and promptly.
To be considered you must have the following: A clinical background in General Practice and/or Triage.
Providing compassion, empathy and understanding to patients and their families whilst maintaining a professional approach.
Be a team player with strong critical thinking skills, who can work both independently and collaboratively in our dynamic team environment.
Effective time management and prioritisation.
Flexibility to work across all shifts/days.
Current ALS/CPR AHPRA Registration.
After Hours Requirements: Up to 10pm, weekends and Public Holidays.
Salary Information: $45 - $55 per hour.
