The position
This is an rewarding and exciting opportunity to contribute your skills as a practice manager within a small business and be a part of our ongoing growth and success!
You will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice, managing financial operations, team leadership and ensuring the efficient delivery of healthcare services to the highest standard.
The position is ongoing casual with appx 20 hours a week. Hours can be flexible and tailored to suit your needs.

Skills and experience:

You are a competent practice manager with at least 12 months previous experience in operational and team management within a General Practice environment.
You have experience with conducting payroll and other financial processes through Xero (or similar program).
You are competent in the use of Medical Director, Pracsoft and Hotdoc (or similar programs)
You are thoroughly familiar with Medicare and the MBS
You hold current CPR training (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities include:

Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
Manage financial operations such as billings and accounts, perform payroll, and other relevant accounting tasks.
Human resource management, including recruitment, training, performance management.
Implement and maintain quality improvement.
Lead clinic accreditation.
Address patient feedback and concerns promptly and effectively.
Team leadership, supervision, and support of admin and nursing team, including organising of regular meetings.
Liaise with, support and assistance of clinic doctors as required.
Work closely and collaboratively with management colleagues and director to ensure optimal business performance.
Implement and maintain efficient systems and processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and invoicing procedures.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Liaise with healthcare providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders as necessary.
