About Ngak Min Health Ngak Min Health provides comprehensive primary health care services with a focus on prevention, early intervention, and holistic care for children, young people, and families. Based at Djarragun College, our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver general medical services, mental health support, and allied health programs in a culturally sensitive manner.
Role and Responsibilities As the Practice Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring seamless service delivery, compliance with RACGP Standards, and continuous quality improvement. This part-time position offers the opportunity to lead and support a diverse team, including supervising identified positions, managing Medicare claims, and ensuring excellence in clinic performance.
Key responsibilities include: Overseeing the day-to-day clinic functions and client service deliveryManaging Medicare claims, private billing, and client registrations using Best Practice softwareEnsuring compliance with RACGP Standards and maintaining AGPAL accreditationSupervising and providing performance management for direct reportsDriving continuous quality improvement and ensuring clinic administration procedures are up to dateCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to promote Ngak Min Health's serviceTo succeed in this role, you will have: A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a healthcare settingA Diploma in Practice Management or Business Management (or equivalent)Experience with Medicare claims processing, private billing, and client registration processesProficiency in medical software (Best Practice preferred)Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skillsDemonstrated Knowledge and experience of RACGP Standards and accreditation processes Experience working with Indigenous and/or disadvantaged communities A commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive work environmentWhy Join Us?
