The practice manager will play an integral role in the development and health of the practice, leading and managing the daily operations for all aspects of the practice. This role will be supporting the entire administrative and clinical team and function, with the support of a nurse manager and a clinical manager (your direct reports).Reporting to the Managing Director, your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:Overall smooth running of the administration & clinical aspects of the practice, with the support of the clinical manager and nurse manager.Assisting with the training of new and existing staff.Supervising and monitoring performance of all staff.Coordinating appointment books.Working closely with specialists to ensure smooth appointment book management.Ordering, stocktake & stock management for office supplies.Managing rosters, timesheet approval and leave management.Providing a high level of assistance and communication to patients.Motivation and support of the team.Develop and achieve goals to advance the clinic every month.About YouYou thrive working in a specialist dermatologist practice, collaborating with dermatologists and working with a diverse team.You are excited to facilitate an engaging work environment for the team, including developing and facilitating professional development plans, managing appointment books and publishing rosters.You are motivated to arrange in-clinic training to ensure that the team remains up to date with all aspects of their position, all conditions seen and modalities used in the clinic.You're hungry and you know how to inspire and lead a team to produce a busy and thriving practice environment.You're a seasoned manager with experience across both the people and process sides of a clinic.You have a proven track record of leading teams, with the ability to rapidly develop, adapt and deploy strategies in response to changes in the clinic.You love building teams and establishing development pathways for your team members.
