The opportunity VPS 5 role, earning $109,730 - $132,764 per year plus superannuation.Lead a team of Behaviour Support Specialists and oversee delivery of evidence-based psychosocial programs to support the rehabilitation of young people in custody.Develop strategies, interventions and plans that are responsive to the individual needs of young people.The Practice Lead reports directly to the Clinical Manager, Rehabilitation Services, and will provide leadership and direction to a team of Behaviour Support Specialists at Parkville Youth Justice Precinct. They will oversee a range of interventions and behaviour management strategies.
To be successful in this role you will have experience leading a multi-disciplinary team to deliver interventions and services to complex client groups. A relevant qualification in psychology, social work, youth work, or related discipline is essential. You will be required to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) to be maintained for the period of employment.
About the Parkville Youth Justice Precinct Parkville is a youth justice facility located in the inner northern Melbourne suburb of Parkville. The facility accommodates young people aged 10-21 years on remand and when sentenced.
