They are a leader in their industry, known for their innovative use of technology to improve customer experiences and business performance.Job DescriptionEngage with retail industry stakeholders to gather and prioritise business requirements, ensuring alignment with key retail objectives and customer insights.Lead the design and development of interactive Power BI reports and data models that translate complex retail data into actionable business insights, supporting sales, inventory, and customer experience analysis.Conduct in-depth data analysis to deliver insights through dynamic and visually compelling dashboards, enhancing decision-making for retail operations.Ensure the security and access control of Power BI reports and dashboards, limiting access to sensitive retail data and safeguarding confidential information.Deliver timely enhancements and resolve complex or urgent defects to minimise errors that could disrupt retail business operations, ensuring seamless functionality across systems.Demonstrate the value of Power BI by creating impactful proof of concepts, tailored to the unique needs of the retail industry, driving innovation and operational improvements.Mentor and guide Power Users and other business users in the development and deployment of data models, reports, and dashboards, empowering them to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.Collaborate with Power Users to extract, transform, and prepare retail data sets for use in dashboard creation, ensuring accuracy and relevance to business goals.The Successful ApplicantA successful Power BI Developer should have:A strong understanding of Power BI development and administration.Experience with SQL and data modelling techniques.Ability to integrate multiple data sources into Power BI.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to train others on Power BI usage.Proven record of using data to drive business decisions.
