Position Vacant - Polling Booth Attendant

The SRC is holding its 2024 Annual General Election.
Applicants are sought for positions of Polling Booth Attendant.
Whilst experience is not necessary, it may be an advantage.
UTS Students are encouraged to apply.
Applications may also be made by persons who are not students.
You do not have to be available for all shifts.
Voting days are: Tuesday 15th October, Wednesday 16th October and Thursday 17th October 2024.
Voting shifts are: Morning - 10.15am to 1.45pm, Afternoon 3.15pm to 6.45pm
Votes will be counted on Friday 18th October 2024, and may extend into Saturday and/or the following week.
Counting shifts are: 9am to 1pm and 1pm to 5pm, but may be varied.
Minimum shift time is 3.5 hours.
Pay rate is $36.49 per hour.

Requirements for Polling Booth Attendants: To be a polling booth attendant you MUST
Be available to attend a paid training session held at 8.00am on Tuesday 15th October 2024.Satisfy political neutrality requirements.Be able to supply a Tax File Number if employed.Be able to work in Australia (i.e.
Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or holder of Visa with work rights)Be able to work full shifts (as listed in the Polling Booth Attendant Application Form)APPLICATIONS will only be open for a limited time.
Only the first 40 applications will be considered.
