This is a great opportunity for multiple APS6 Policy officers to join this busy team for a long term 12-month temporary assignment.
About the role: Leading research and analysis to develop policy.
Preparing and coordinating policy advice.
Drafting policy, strategy, project, and corporate documents.
Managing policy projects.
Identifying and addressing reform and project risks.
Initiating and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
Participating in co-design, workshops, and forums.
About you: You will have experience working in a policy role previously, and have an understanding of the policy development process.
You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills Ideally you will have experience working in a government setting – local, state or federal You will have high attention to detail You will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels You will have previous stakeholder engagement experience Benefits: ASAP start (pending Federal Police Clearance) 12-month temporary assignment with the possibility of extension Full time hours Monday to Friday Geelong, Richmond, Surry Hills and Brisbane + hybrid working from home options.
