We develop, promote and manage the conduct of the racing of thoroughbred horses in Victoria to safeguard its integrity.
RV is looking for a suitably qualified Platform and Security Engineer to join our Digital Transformation & Technology Team.
What we are looking for: We are in search of a dynamic individual who will be responsible for managing and optimising our technology ecosystem, including Cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and other platform components.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Cyber Security and will be skilled at implementing and enforcing best practices to safeguard the reliability, scalability, and integrity of our systems.

About you: The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, with proficiency in managing cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS, including deployment pipelines.
You should possess a strong understanding of Cyber Security concepts and best practices, along with experience implementing and enforcing security policies across Hybrid-Cloud platforms.
You will thrive in a fast paced and hands on team environment.
Some of the other skills and experience you will have include: Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and associated tools.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform.
Python coding knowledge and experience.
Experience with Containerization platforms - e.g.
Docker (desirable).
Experience with JIRA, Netskope, PagerDuty, highly advantageous.
