Champ Resources are seeking applications for this vacancy offering full time hours of work. We require an experienced CNC Plasma Profile Cutter Operator to join our long standing client's team in Singleton for on-going, continuous work on a long term basis, with view to permanency for the right applicant. Based at the Mt Thorley workshop, you will be able to evidence extensive experience in the manufacture of (predominantly) mining plant and equipment. Manufactured goods include cane bins, wear parts, truck body manufacture and processing plant components. With a brand new Profile Cutter to operate - you will be in your happy place with this opportunity!! With a family friendly role which only requires full time day work Monday - Friday, the position is initially engaged on a casual basis. The right candidate will have the opportunity to transition to permanent employment in future, based upon solid performance. TO BE CONSIDERED, you must meet the below criteria Ability to evidence previous experience operating a state of the art CNC Plasma Profile Cutter (Programming, Multi-Axis cutting of heavy gauged plate, Horizontal & Vertical Cutting, Plate processing, pressing, rolling/studding of Dual-Plate position.) The ability to demonstrate a strong drive to maintain and exceed production requirements The ability to maintain production without "cutting corners" (pardon the pun!) and whilst adhering to expected safety procedures Experience interpreting/reading technical drawings and plans and use of CAD software Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to pass full functional medical and D&A screening Hold a current Forklift HRW Licence and competency in overhead crane operation (dogging/rigging a bonus) Current, unrestricted drivers licence and reliable transport WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?
