The broader team is also responsible for:EA compliance and executionProvision of advice relating to EA interpretationImplementing IR legislative changesContract managementPolicy to support key entitlementsRole gradingThe purpose of this role is to support the IR function by providing ensuring compliance with the EA and our legal obligations. Your ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to perform and deliver the following in a manner consistent with CBA's Values Expectations. ComplianceIdentify, monitor and implement controls to mitigate riskInvestigate issues identified in assurance activities, resolving both individual and systemic causes (including detailing business requirements for system enhancements as required).Develop materials to report Group IR activities and implications to internal stakeholders and senior management across the Group to support our compliance focusLead and coach your team member to deliver effective compliance and simplification activities for the teamAdviceWork with HR teams and business leaders to provide advice on industrial instruments, including resolving complex IR queries relating to the interpretation of the EA and Policy as it applies to specific circumstances, understanding some decisions may impact >30,000 employeesSeek advice with internal/external legal advisors on complex matters as requiredFacilitate presentations/workshops to different levels of employees across the Group on IR mattersDesign education materials, collateral and training to enable leaders to understand and manage their industrial obligationsProjects supportLead IR strategic projects with technical support and analytical /data modelling as required.Engage with internal stakeholders to manage relationships and expectations while supporting organisational changeGeneral IR support and other activitiesContribute to the resolution of industrial disputes and grievances in the workplaceManage FSU queries impacting individual level issues as they relate to the Fair Work Act and the applicable Group Enterprise AgreementsSource/Provide analytics to support the IR strategic initiativesIdentify and assist BUs with enhancing workforce effectiveness and productivitySupport the Group with other activities as requiredYour SkillsAdvanced data analysis skills, to source and manipulate data to identify trends, issues and corrective actionsData modelling to input to strategic IR plans and decisionsWell-developed problem solving abilityDemonstrated ability to deliver on complex projects / programs of workThe delivery of operational Industrial Relations activities including supporting the business with IR queries and providing IR or HR advice in a large multifaceted organisationSolid knowledge of the Australian workplace relations and industrial relations environment and employment contracts Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, including the ability to distil complex policy into simple, easy to understand messagesRisk Mindset –All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks.Experience and understanding of the data in Workday HR system and GV payroll system is highly desirable.This role is based in Sydney.If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through to submit a valid application.
