About the Role The Shire is seeking the services of a highly motivated and suitably qualified applicant for the role of Plant Operator. This is a permanent full-time position at 76 hours per fortnight. The position works a 9-day fortnightly roster, with every second Friday allocated as a rostered day off. Essential criteria and other information is listed in the position description (PD) above.
The successful applicant of this central role will operate the majority of construction and maintenance plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, as a pro-active member of the Shire's road construction and maintenance teams. Applicants with demonstrated experience in road grading will be highly regarded.
