Plant Manager New Zealand

Based in Wellington, this is an excellent opportunity to join a Global Group in the important position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager.
The primary function of the role is to be responsible for the efficient and compliant operation of the Wastewater Treatment Facility. You will ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures, and operate and maintain the Plant within the requirements of the Contract.
You will be required to have qualifications in an engineering or scientific discipline or a certificate in water or wastewater treatment, combined with a minimum of 10 years' experience in wastewater/water treatment and/or in the industrial/process control Industry.
You must have a proven ability to plan and organize, and communicate at all levels. An ability to establish and maintain a plant operating culture that embraces change, flexibility, and responsiveness to customer requirements is important. Motivation of staff is key to performing as a team, and you must have an ability and willingness to manage and direct a multi-skilled team.
On a personal level, you will be motivated and a leader managing many internal and external relationships.
