We are currently looking for an experienced Planning Manager to join our Development team, based in Sydney.
The Role: Reporting to the Head of Operations, this role is responsible for evaluating and developing property opportunities from a planning perspective.
The role will inform decision making regarding the Development projects and new acquisitions.
Your responsibilities will include: Providing advice in the management and implementation of planning strategies for the existing Development projects Maintain current knowledge and keep abreast of current planning legislation, trends and market activity Providing expert input in development of strategies to maintain competitiveness and improve company market positioning Provide guidance to project teams and business units regarding appropriate methodologies and strategies to achieve successful planning outcomes as well as legislation trends and updates Assessing new opportunities for the urban regeneration portfolio Leading and conducting research and analysis, undertaking due diligence and determining the viability of sites with particular emphasis on planning risk and mitigation and master plan and urban design outcomes related to a value proposition About you: You will be an established planning expert with experience across large scale urban regeneration projects, you will also have: A strong understanding of planning processes for large scale, mixed use projects, from project inception and strategy to delivery Extensive experience and knowledge of state and local Government planning practises is essential as well as excellent established relationships with key external parties Direct experience in property investments and acquisitions Experience in managing consultants including planning, design, master planning, heritage, archaeology and traffic consultants to achieve successful development outcomes Why Lendlease?
