Pipewelders - Gladstone

About The Role We are in search of experienced Pipewelders to join our shutdown team based in Gladstone, Central Queensland. You will play a vital role in an Alumina Refinery shutdown, specifically focusing on Digestion Units 1&2 and Units 3&4. We encourage applicants from Gladstone locals and those interstate. There are various rosters on offer including day and night shift with an opportunity for overtime. Flights and accommodation provided. What you will bring Prior experience in shutdown environments, preferably within Alumina or similar continuous processing plants Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Fabrication (essential) Ability to pass a 6G Weld Test - GTAW/FCAW, GTAW, MMAW Working at Heights Training (within 2 years) (essential) Confined Space Entry Training (within 2 years) (essential) Gast Test Atmospheres (within 2 years) (essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Valid Australian Driver's Licence Proof of right to work in Australia Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we live by our promise:  The safe way is the only way .
