Bechtel are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters to join the Pluto Train 2 Project in Karratha.

Project Overview: Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.
Pluto Train 2 will process Scarborough gas and have an LNG capacity of ~5 million tonnes per annum.
As part of the construction of Pluto Train 2, additional domestic gas infrastructure will be installed to increase capacity to ~225 Terajoules per day.
About the Role: Reporting to the Piping Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Read and interpret Isometric drawings.Site measure and fit large bore and small bore pipe.Work to Bechtel piping procedures and tolerances.Installation of pipe supports.Complete Flange Management and ITR's.Work with supervision and engineering to complete IWP's.Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in a similar position within the construction & LNG industry.Experience reading isometric drawings and use of P&IDs.Previous experience using clamshell and oxy cutting.Australian recognised fabrication or fitting trade certificate.White Card.Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening.Previous Bechtel experience is desirable.Whats on Offer: 3:1 roster, FIFO to Karratha with direct flight from Perth and Brisbane.Fly home morning of day 21, paid at ordinary hours - home the same day!RDO is accrued - choose to have it paid during RNR or at the end of your contract.Full time, permanent employment (4 weeks of annual leave, 10 days of personal leave).$47.30 per hour base rate.$1.88 per hour tradesperson allowance (bringing base to $49.18 + penalties).$5.40 per hour site allowance.Severance payment of 2 x base hourly rate per week.Weekly pay.Additional Information: This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.
), and work in inclement weather.
Some lifting may be required.
Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e.
respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.
).
The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e.
cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are permitted to be brought to the site.
Mobile phones and other personal electronic devices – i.e.
wireless headphones, iPads, smart watches - are also not permitted on site.
