Levaro Neurological Rehabilitation Centre In May 2023, Levaro opened our new Neurological Rehabilitation Centre with 270 square meters of well-equipped air-conditioned gym space. The largest of its kind in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area.
The centre is equipped with 2 specialised treatment rooms and contains state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment, including a Moto Med, Lite Gait treadmill, Roof-mounted hoists, A Pilates Trapeze Table, Pilates reformer, Pilates chair, Motorised parallel bars, recline bikes and weight lifting racks and equipment.

Levaro Allied Health supports a large caseload of adult clients living with a broad range of neurological conditions, such as:
Multiple Sclerosis Muscular Dystrophy Cerebral Palsy Parkinson's Disease Motor Neurone Disease Huntington's Disease Many of our clients are supported by the NDIS and iCare insurance schemes; experience working with these schemes would be an advantage.

A supportive, experienced Clinical Director, efficient on-site administration support, and a helpful management team. Supportive multi-disciplinary team environment with diversified clinical caseload. Person-centered working environment plus a values-driven culture. Flexible working conditions and hours. Independence and autonomy. You will have a diverse mix to your caseload, supporting various clients funded through the NDIS, iCare, My Aged Care, and other private channels with the ability to specialise in your preferred areas. Generous CPD allowance and paid time off to attend training. A new laptop and phone. Uniforms provided. Our allied health team comprises six Occupational Therapists, five Physiotherapists, and one Speech Pathologist.
Who we are looking for: Someone who loves working as a Physiotherapist and is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of individuals with a disability.
Ideally has clinical experience in supporting people with a disability, in particular, those with a neurological condition. Tertiary Qualification and AHPRA Registration (no restrictions). A commitment to a client-centered approach. Excellent collaboration skills & demonstrated skills in working in partnership. A commitment to the inclusion & participation of people who have a disability within their local & natural communities. A commitment to continued learning and development of new skills & capabilities. A commitment to using evidence as a basis for practice. Understanding the rights of people with a disability. Confidence to work independently as well as collaborate and contribute to our team. Must have a current driver's licence and willingness to drive as per role requirements. Must have a current national police check. Must have an NDIS worker screening check clearance. Be willing to provide a confirmation record of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations.
