Pharmacist - Senior (Renal Services), Cairns and Hinterland HHS - Cairns Full time The Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service covers a large geographic area with a diverse and growing population.

About your opportunity: In this position you will: Provide independent high level clinical pharmacy services (face to face, phone or telehealth) of a complex and critical nature with significant scope to CHHHS and TCHHS including all Renal services (Kidney Supportive Care, Transplant, Dialysis and Chronic Kidney Disease).
Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan and evaluate local service improvements including initiation and participation in medication safety initiatives, medicines usage evaluations, collection of key performance indicator data and other medication management quality improvement activities.
Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers, as required to ensure continuum of care.
Provides clinical practice and operational supervision to HP3, support staff and students within the Pharmacy Renal Services Team, including a role in performance management.
Contribute to clinical research activities within CHHHS Pharmacy and Renal Departments.
