Queensland Voluntary Assisted Dying Support and Pharmacy Service (QVAD Support and Pharmacy Service) are looking for a Pharmacist – Advanced Clinical to join their Garden City Office Park team. The purpose of this position is to provide specialised clinical and consultancy services within Queensland to health practitioners and patients regarding access to Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD).

About the Role Provide compassionate, patient-centred care and support to patients and their families in a variety of care environments, including the patient's home in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.Provide professional leadership and responsibility for development of QVAD Pharmacy clinical practices, procedures and protocols.Apply advanced level independent professional judgment regarding the assessment and treatment planning of complex patients.Demonstrate high-level clinical leadership and mentoring support to less experienced clinicians to problem solve urgent and emergent complex clinical issues.Act as a clinical reference point for VAD substance processes including providing education to health practitioners about the VAD substances and how to prescribe and administer.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
