We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, based out of our Launceston depot, servicing Northern Tasmania.
As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises pest-free. DutiesInspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pestsCarrying out measures as required to eliminate the pestsIdentifying sales leads in the region where possibleBuilding rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention processDeveloping and maintaining long-term customer relationships At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is: Current and valid Australian open/full driver's licenceEligible to work full-time in AustraliaAvailability for possible overnight stays in remote areasInterest in Pest Control or related industry experienceExcellent customer service skills to manage, maintain, and build upon client relationshipsCommunicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writingPhysically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distancesHigh attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targetsAn ability to consistently work within both our client's and Rentokil's safety parametersConfident using a mobile phone service app/tablet As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical, references and police checks.
