About this role: Programmed Care requires support staff to assist our aged care clients within their own homes. This role requires a wide travel radius throughout Brisbanes Southern and Bayside suburbs and would ideally suit someone located within the Durack, Calamvale or Ipswich Regions.
You will be expexted to travel to both Ipswich and Bayside Regions. This position requires employees to assist with personal care, some light domestic duties and shopping on behalf of the client. These services are day services and you will be required to visit multiple clients in different locations within their own homes. You are paid for the full shifts and travel, including a 99 cents/KM allowance for the time you travel between clients. Shifts are set, Monday to Friday, between 0700 and 1630 and you will need flexibility to pick up short shifts on alternate weekends.
You will need to have:
Current Cert III Aged care, Individual Care, Disability or Community Care
2 x professional references
Experience, in a comparable role in aged care facility, in home support, community role
reliable, fully insured vehicle (essential)
Vehicle Registration
Drivers Licence
Current National Police Clearance Check
Passport and/or birth certificate (proof of Australian Working Rights)
Current First Aid & CPR
Manual Handling Certificate
Current Blue Card
Evidence of Covid Vaccination - (2 doses- Essential for work in the aged care sector)
