About the roleWe currently have casual positions available for reliable and passionate Home Care Professionals to join our team. You will need to be friendly, positive and demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy and treating others with dignity and respect. You'll also need to have a natural ability to build relationships that make a difference, be honest, helpful and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.
Responsibilities will include: Variety of shifts available including weekends and active overnightsWorking within a person-centred, enabling environment that respects the rights and needs of each clientAssisting clients with personal hygiene, dressing and domestic dutiesAssisting clients with daily errands, companionship and supportProviding support with academic, social or recreational activitiesPreparing food, feeding clients and assisting medicationsObserve, care and report any changes in the health and wellbeing of the clientResponding to emergency situationsHigh Care Need Experience including hoist and catheter experience (Desirable but not essential)Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to learn, develop and take on new challengesRequirements: Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain)Current First Aid & CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)Current Working with Children/Blue Card (or ability to obtain)Job Type: Casual
Pay: $38.53 – $84.76 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
