Performance Leads are responsible for the overall performance of Home Claims suppliers, managing our supply chain through effective monitoring, driving accountability and leading strategic partnerships to deliver quality outcomes for our customers and alignment to our purpose.
More specifically, you will: Establish and maintain strong relationships with specialist suppliers, acting as the primary contact point for key external stakeholders.Manage supplier cost, timeliness, customer, quality and operational results, leveraging the Performance Framework to identify and drive improvements.Provide recommendations to develop existing frameworks to uplift the Home Claims strategy for end-to-end supply-chain management.Drive adherence of Governance and Control Frameworks, ensuring appropriate data security, WHS, external conduct and disaster recovery policies are in place.Ensure suppliers and internal teams are operating in alignment with contract terms and conditions, including managing enforcement action and dispute resolution where required.Lead the delivery of supplier risk assessments and audit activities, including the facilitation of audit meetings, the review of outcomes and provision of advice.Contribute to driving team and broader Home Claims priorities through the identification and leadership of program of work initiatives.Develop supplier capability through coaching and training (Governance Frameworks, Code of Practice, vulnerable customers, contractual expectations, PDS refreshers, process and system changes, etc).Support the Event Response Plan through management of supplier capacity, promoting alignment to procedures and providing ad-hoc performance coaching where required.Engage a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including Legal, Risk, Technology, Assessing, Claims and Data teams.Advocate the deployment of change and technology implementation across the supply chain including delivery of effective and communications to supplier and impacted teams.Provide specialist support to Claims Procurement in the negotiation of contracts and pricing during supplier renewals, onboarding and benchmarking activities.Identify opportunities to refine the specialist supply chain panel, providing improved fulfilment options to customers.Leverage data to summarise share insights to deliver actionable recommendations to streamline claims processes, improve supplier performance and service delivery.About You: Qualifications or experience within one or more of the following professions: Construction, Restoration, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Risk, Data Analytics or Project Management (desired)Minimum 5 years insurance industry experience, preferably in claims (mandatory)Minimum 2 years supply chain or supply management experience (desired)An understanding of supply chain principles and best practice (desired)IICRC Restoration Certification qualifications would be highly regardedKey Capabilities: An understanding of financial management, budgeting and forecasting.Advanced communication skills with strong ability to receive, interpret and convey information.Proficient planning and organisational skills.Ability to create valuable business insights and recommendations from data.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with and influence the business and external parties.Ability to build, develop and maintain a wide network of business and industry relationships.Ability to work with competing priorities and meet associated deadlines.Ability to work effectively in diverse and virtual teams.Critical thinking with the ability to analyse situations accurately and make effective decisions.Proven stakeholder management and an ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Working knowledge of the Insurance Industry principles and regulations, including knowledge about business products, policies and procedures.Drives innovation, removes blockages, anticipates and adapts flexibly to changing market expectations and business challenges.Effective change management; with the required support, identifies change, gains support and plans for the implementation, manages stakeholders and communication, creates a culture of flexibility.Demonstrated leadership ability to work in high performing teams and willingness to share best practices.Ability to resolve problems and set high personal standards to deliver timely results in a changing environment.Ability to resolve disputes and negotiate equitable outcomes between several stakeholders.Demonstrated coaching and performance management skills against various KPIs.We believe we are at our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
