The transformation you will experience. The Paid Search Manager's purpose is to assist the Digital Account Director in shaping and defining industry-leading paid search strategies for our clients across Zenith, with the focus to deliver outstanding value whilst working with an integrated service model tailored to their individual needs.
Your scope will include:
Accountable for training Executives/Coordinators to ensure that they are highly skilled in paid search implementation. Manage the search team to ensure account deliverables including campaign set up, reporting, optimisation tactics, quality checks and best practice are adhered to. Day to day client team & client contact across SEM. Confident in compiling strong SEM responses and presenting these directly to clients. With the opportunity to plan other digital channels by assisting the Digital Director and Planning Director. Assist agency & client education around all areas of SEM. Ensure quality controls are in place from planning/buying/optimisation and reporting for you and your team. Be our clients' go-to paid search advertising expert. Hold in-depth planning and activation knowledge across SEM platforms and key digital platforms e.g. analytics platforms/proprietary SEM tools. Lead search implementation responses from a planning and strategic perspective. Quality control adherence to deals, negotiations and timely and accurate forecasting. What type of person will be successful in this role? 4-6 years' minimum experience in SEM/performance media. Must have an excellent grasp of paid search planning & activation. Must have experience and working knowledge of Google paid search platforms (Google Ads, SA360), the Microsoft Advertising platform, as well as key industry SEM tools and key analytics platforms e.g. Google Analytics/GA360. Ideally has some SEO knowledge and an understanding of paid and organic search work as a team. Managerial experience preferred. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
