THE ROLE
A newly created role, the People & Culture Business Partner reports directly to the General Manager - People & Culture, offering an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving HR practices and supporting the organisation's growth. Joining a close-knit team of 9 in the People & Culture division, this role will focus on partnering with business units to implement HR strategies, coach mid-level managers, and advise on ER and IR matters, including award interpretation and enterprise agreement compliance. It's a fantastic opportunity to work closely with passionate leaders and make a real impact in a busy BAU environment. THE RESPONSIBILITIES Build and implement HR strategies, improving processes and driving engagement Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and oversee engagement surveys Support onboarding, leadership development, and HRIS system projects Manage ER/IR case work, ensuring compliance with awards and enterprise agreements Coach and empower managers on performance management and employee relations ABOUT YOU
While experience within a not-for-profit would be valuable, your attitude, cultural fit, and passion for all things People & Culture will truly see you thrive in this fantastic organisation. We're seeking and People & Culture Partner or Senior HR Advisor who has the experience in partnering with business units, coaching managers, and implementing key people initiatives/systems. You don't need to be an expert in ER/IR, but a solid understanding of awards and enterprise agreements is important.
Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role Strong understanding of ER/IR issues and awards, with practical experience advising managers Ambitious, eager to grow, and passionate about making a difference and adding value Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach Experience in the non-profit or retail sector is a bonus, but we welcome varied backgrounds HOW TO APPLY
