The Opportunity Are you passionate about driving a positive workplace culture and supporting organizational growth? We are looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our dynamic team in Brisbane.
In this role, you will collaborate with Business Leaders to align People & Culture strategies with company goals, fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment.
Purpose Translate business strategy and people plans into effective P&C management interventions.
Act as a trusted business partner to oversee, manage and support business success through the delivery, execution and implementation of P&C services, programs and activities.
Provide P&C strategic context and understanding of specific business plan requirements.
Engage with functional specialists to facilitate successful business outcomes.
Contribute to the design and strategy direction of the operational P&C plan.
Administer approved P&C policies and programs; ensure compliance with relevant standards, legislation and company policies.
Engage with P&C Business Partner Network to facilitate strategic people requirements.
Relationships Management Understand specific business plan requirements and provide sound P&C advice.
Collaborate to ensure compliance to the Downer Standard (TDS), ZH and other policies and procedures.
Advise and support Transport & Infrastructure AU business to deliver business priorities.
Internal clients Build and maintain effective relationships to manage client expectations.
Deliver credible P&C services and manage related risks.
Work collegiately with the P&C network and specialist functions.
Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) specialist advice to enable Transport & Infrastructure P&C strategic objectives.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources & Industrial Relations desirable.
Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in large-scale organisations.
Experience in the support of IR/ER processes.
Strong working knowledge across all areas of P&C and excellent communication skills.
Demonstrated skills in managing and supporting the delivery of P&C policies and procedures.
Ability to influence and constructively challenge others.
Outstanding people leadership skills including conflict and resolution management.
Flexible approach to working - Travel is required.
