Key Responsibilities:
Mergers & Acquisitions: Complete the end-to-end function of the HR M&A process including conducting due diligence reviews, preparing reports for upcoming settlements, reviewing industrial relations and employment compliance, pre and post-settlement HR onboarding and administrative tasks including contract preparation and data entry in the HRIS.
People Services: Deliver timely accurate support and guidance on incoming employment-related matters through the HR inbox and main phone line.
People Systems: Support in People System project work, maintain up-to-date system-related self-service documentation and assist in the resolution of technical issues.
Training & Development: Conduct training sessions within the business on P&C Compliance related topics and People Systems including employment legislation, relevant industrial awards, internal policies and practices, and HRIS self-service system capabilities.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and legislative changes, proactively suggesting enhancements to current HR processes and practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
Exposure to the Early Childhood sector, or a similar operating environment such as education, disability services or aged care (desirable).
Studying towards or hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Business/Human Resource Management.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, childcare regulations, and industrial awards.
Experience in producing reports and data analysis.
High-level computer literacy and application of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Prior experience working with a HRIS (SuccessFactors).
