Our client in the public sector is seeking a People Business Partner to join their team in Melbourne CBD.Hybrid /flexible WFH arrangement6 months contract with opportunity to extendBe part of an excellent organisation.Why You'll Love This Role:Be a Change Agent: Lead organisational change efforts, including workforce planning and restructures.Strategic Influence: Provide expert HR advice to managers and align people strategies with business objectives.Develop Leaders: Coach and support managers to improve staff engagement, performance, and leadership capabilities.Engage Across Functions: Act as the voice of employees while collaborating with senior leaders and HR specialists.Key Responsibilities:Partner with functional managers to design and implement people strategies.Provide guidance on employee relations, including grievances, absenteeism, and competency issues.Drive cultural change by implementing action plans based on engagement surveys.Collaborate on workforce planning, recruitment, and training programs.Ensure compliance with industrial relations, enterprise agreements, and HR policies.Promote and utilise HR systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.What You'll Bring:Tertiary qualifications in HR or management (desirable).Proven HR generalist experience, ideally in an industrial environment.Proven ability to influence, coach, and drive innovative HR initiatives.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Experience managing sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.Accreditation in Mercer Job Evaluation (highly desirable).What's on Offer:Opportunity to work closely with senior leaders in shaping organisational culture.A chance to lead HR transformation initiatives in a supportive environment.Collaborate across diverse teams to achieve impactful outcomes.Are you ready to take the next step in your HR career and make a difference?
