The Role
As a People and Culture Officer, you'll play a key role in fostering a positive workplace environment, driving employee engagement, and supporting HR operations across the organisation. You'll collaborate with teams to implement initiatives that promote inclusivity, professional development and a thriving company culture. Your work will involve managing recruitment processes, assisting with employee relations and supporting Health, Safety and Wellbeing programs. This role is perfect for someone passionate about people, who enjoys problem-solving and wants to contribute to a workplace where employees feel valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities Provide operational support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and offboarding. Assist with the implementation of our People and Culture policies, procedures, and initiatives that promote an inclusive and high-performance workplace. Support employee relations activities, including conflict resolution, coaching and feedback processes. Contribute to Health, Safety and Wellbeing initiatives by helping coordinate training sessions and employee development programs. Administer and maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and company standards. Assist with the development and roll-out of employee engagement initiatives to improve culture and retention. Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure a seamless and consistent employee experience. Skills and Experience A passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. An understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment law. Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to people challenges. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. A positive, can-do attitude with a collaborative mindset.
