This is a full-time role but we can consider a 4-day working week if preferred, and you'll have the opportunity to work partly from home.The RoleAs the Payroll & Systems Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing all payroll processes, ensuring the timely and accurate sharing of information for the fortnightly, outsourced payroll.
You'll be the go-to person for payroll queries and systems management (including HRIS and payroll portal), as well as providing administrative support to the People & Culture team.
Working closely with the Head of People, you'll have plenty of scope to develop and grow your HR skills and add further value longer term.
Your typical responsibilities will include: Ensure payroll requests are processed accurately and in a timely manner for the fortnightly outsourced payroll (ie.
expenses, annual leave, new starter info)Manage payroll related queries and discrepanciesEnsure compliance with legislation and internal policiesPrepare payroll reportsMaintain the HRIS (bob) and payroll portal (SyncEzy)Support the projects team with the management of Clockify (time recording)Train and support staff on systems useProvide admin support to the People & Culture team, including documentation, reporting and data managementAssist with the development and implementation of HR policies and proceduresSupport employee engagement and culture initiativesAssist with the onboarding, orientation and training of new hiresSkills and ExperienceThis is a newly created role and we're looking for someone with solid experience in the management of payroll and payroll processes (including managing payroll cycles and addressing payroll-related issues).
You'll also need experience in HR systems management (ie.
