About the Role: An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Group Business Performance team for an experienced Senior Accountant.
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise Performance Accountant to join our vibrant and supportive team led by the Enterprise Performance and Accounting Manager.
This role serves as the primary contact for all shareholder reporting requirements and is crucial in managing the key aspects of corporate reporting, including preparation of consolidated statutory accounts, technical accounting advice, coordination of the external audit process, and conducting subsidiaries' solvency assessments.
Your work will directly contribute to our financial transparency and compliance, ensuring our stakeholders receive timely and accurate information.

Key Responsibilities: Shareholder Reporting: Oversee all shareholder reporting requirements, from preparing monthly and yearly reporting packs to managing compliance with shareholders' KPIs.
Financial Reporting: Play a critical role in supporting key financial reporting activities for the Group, including the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and the related papers to the Board and Audit and Compliance Committee, and conducting subsidiaries' solvency assessments.
Technical Accounting: Provide expert technical accounting advice to finance teams across Markets, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with shareholder representatives using Mandarin for effective communication.
Audit Coordination: Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Month-end: Maintain accurate Group Trial Balance in BPC system.
Prepare monthly Group consolidation journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
Ideal Candidate: Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
Post Graduate qualification (CA/CPA) is ideal.
Technical Skills: Strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of accounting standards, and demonstrated knowledge and experience in BI & SAP systems.
Advanced computer literacy, particularly with MS Excel, is essential.
Language Skills: Fluency in Mandarin is required due to the need for regular communication with shareholders.
Experience: Ideally, you will have experience in corporate reporting, with a background in a Big Four accounting firm being highly regarded.
Candidates with strong industry experience will also be considered.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are crucial.
