Payroll Officer - 64 hours per fortnight About Bass Coast Health Bass Coast Health (BCH) is the sub-regional health service for the Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires, with sites at Wonthaggi, Cowes, San Remo.
In order to support our rapidly growing population, we're growing our services and the complexity of our organisation. This includes adding a new $115 million hospital expansion and renovated facilities to ensure we meet the increasing health care needs of our region.
Position Summary Bass Coast Health is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our small dynamic team to assist with delivering an efficient and robust fortnightly payroll to 1000+ employees....and growing.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for delivering in all facets of a quality payroll service including fortnightly timecard processing, auditing and issue resolution, responding to a variety of employee pay queries and you will ensure that all salary and other allowance payments are made consistent with the appropriate Industrial Instrument (e.g. Employment Agreements and Awards). Ideally you will have previous experience using SAP and Kronos, or similar payroll software.
You'll need to enjoy digging into the detail, problem solving, interpreting Awards and EBA's and have an exceptional eye for detail. Candidates who are motivated by a willingness to contribute to Bass Coast Health's growth and culture, while offering continuous procedural improvements will shine.
