In this role you will provide advice on the OHS&E issues and ensure systems and procedures are in place and maintained to provide a safe place of work for all McColl's employees, contractors and visitors.Your responsibilities will include:Ensuring a safe and compliant operation of the organisation.Ensuring compliance training and assessment requirements are identified and managed in accordance with statutory requirements.Ensuring all hazardous activities are identified, analysed, reported and control measures implemented.Driving continuous improvement initiatives in the OHS&E functions of the business.Ensuring incidents are reported to relevant stakeholders, investigated and follow-up actions are identified and implemented.Supporting the provision of training for safe ways of working and best practices for the handling of hazardous materialsSupporting the effective management of return-to-work (RTW) programsCollate monthly, quarterly and yearly OHS&E data.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:A formal certification (Minimum Cert IV) in Safety.Minimum of 3+ years in safety positions.Experience working with safety and environmental regulators.Experience in Workcover/RTW.Ideally experience working in Transport.Keen willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge.Candidates interested in this position should apply directly to through SEEK or alternatively you can apply by submitted your current t cover letter and resume to ****** .Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?Are you available to travel for this role when required?What's your expected annual base salary?Our people make McColl's different.
