This well-established organization is seeking a Payroll Officer for a 6-month temporary contract.
Onsite parking is available, and the office is just an 8-minute walk from Mascot train station.
Key Responsibilities : End-to-End Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely payroll for all employees, including salary payments, deductions, and superannuation contributions.
Compliance & Legislation: Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and ensure all processes adhere to tax, wage, and regulatory standards.
Employee Support: Manage payroll-related inquiries and collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to resolve issues efficiently.
New Starters & Exits: Process onboarding for new hires and calculate final payments for departing staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance payroll processes and stay current with industry best practices.
What We're Looking For : 2-3 years of payroll experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with the Humanforce system is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of payroll systems and regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering accurate results.
Ability to start immediately and hit the ground running.
