Job Description Precise calculation and distribution of pay for employees. Maintenance of accurate payroll records and employee data. Ensuring compliance with relevant tax and employment laws. Processing of employee benefits and deductions. Preparation of financial reports related to payroll. Addressing and resolving any payroll-related queries. Continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes. Collaboration with other Accounting & Finance team members for broader financial tasks. The Successful Applicant A successful Payroll Officer should have:
A strong background in Accounting or Finance. Proficiency in payroll software and systems. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. A strong understanding of payroll tax and employment legislation. The ability to work effectively within a team and independently. Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. What's on Offer A competitive salary ranging from AUD 81,000 to AUD 99,000 per annum.
