Payroll Officer

Talent Connect are pleased to be working with a fast-paced corporate services business as they seek an experienced Payroll officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
 
Join a close-knit payroll team in their CBD offices. Flexible, hybrid working is available after the initial training period.
  
Some of the day-to-day duties include: End to end processing of payroll for your own portfolio of clients Reconciliations and preparation of payments and reports. Calculation and payment of termination payments; including redundancies, dismissals etc. Administration of Award Interpretation update as determined by Fair Work Australia Assist with the administration of PAYG, Super and Third-Party payments  Completion of draft IAS, as required Preparation of payroll reports as required Participate in Payroll system upgrades as and when appropriate Ad hoc administrative responsibilities Ideal candidates will possess: A minimum of 3 years (or equivalent) demonstrated related experience in a similar position (ideally outsourced payroll) Experience with payroll systems  Experience with Time and Attendance systems Experience in delivering impeccable customer/stakeholder service. A formal qualification in Payroll Management / Accounting or HR – considered desirable but not essential Strong understanding of Award interpretation Strong administrative and procedural skills with excellent attention to detail. Intermediate knowledge of Excel Maturity and confidence to deal with confidential and/or sensitive information. If this sounds like you, apply today without delay!
