Payroll Officer

Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia offers experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations, including Ayers Rock Resort in the iconic Red Centre and tourism facilities in Mossman Gorge, located in tropical Queensland.
This role is located at our office in Sydney, which serves as a central hub, providing support to our operational teams based in our two locations.
We are seeking a Payroll professional with a strong attention to detail and exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship skills to join our Finance Team as Payroll Officer .
This role will see you responsible for the accurate administration of payments of Voyages employees' salaries and wages with a focus on Ayers Rock Resort.
Key duties:

Ensure on-time delivery of payroll processes accurately, efficiently and in compliance.
Perform data entry tasks.
Input information for new hires.
Collaborate with the Talent team.
Answer employee inquiries.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll operations.
Capability of running fortnightly payroll on various payroll systems and T&A systems.
Previous experience working with Australian payroll.
Knowledge of systems such as Preceda and UKG.
Experience processing payroll.
